Even though I love O Scale, You can get so much more out of an HO layout. Even on a 4by8 Space. And, the longer loco’s look just right. I don’t even consider HO to be small at all. It’s really more in proportion. also like N Scale too. If you like large locomotives, I think these two scales are the way to go. Great Layout.

hey can i come there ? i wanna steal some trains!!!! >:)
no jk but can i have some

  • algolake:

@rahaworth1 Should phrase that HO ‘Scale’ rather than HO gauge. Models are scaled to the prototype. Gauge is the distance between the inner sides of the heads of the rails on the real thing. Nice layout though!

  • LEGITTER:

Great video, super video. Would love to say more, but can’t find the words.
    THANK YOU

  • griffindor823:

@rahaworth1 I used to have HO gauge but I’m moving slowly but surely up to O gauge

  • rahaworth1:

@griffindor823 The main Sun City Model Railroad Club layout is HO gauge.

  • griffindor823:

    What scale is it

  • tecuinita:

    Congratulation….. congratulation…..

  • Showgirl7able:

@rahaworth1 I gotta see! G is plenty expensive too, but sweet eye candy in the Hobby store!

  • rahaworth1:

@Showgirl7able Thanks for the nice comment. Sounds like you are having fun with your two railroads. O gauge is a bit more of a challenge space wisej than HO. I am editing two videos now that are of a G gauge layout here in NW Phoenix. I’ll have the editing done soon so you can look at an outdoor railroad if you want to.

Sweet layout! Me and my dad have platforms to put our trains, thought not as massive as some of these layouts, it gets pretty creative. The H&O out on the porch and mine which is O sideways in the living room. I am up to 3 locomotives and 2 cabooses.

that first one with the Bachmann UP Greyhound Scheme 4-8-4 engine…. i use to have one :O

  • JBofBrisbane:

@Hetierd – I think you should give it a go.

  • rahaworth1:

@stormrider620331 Thanks for the nice words. You can see progress on the new layout on my update videos on my channel. It is just as impressive in its own way. Richard

  • stormrider620331:

    Very nice layout wow

  • SuBN01z3RaT:

@gaza2421 oh hell i have that stuff then haha and will do

  • gaza2421:

@SuBN01z3RaT Not much needed for tools for the mattboard houses… mattboard, hobby knife & sharp blades, white glue & some square pieces of wood to rienforce corners & walls. I’ve come up with some templates on Autocad of some houses & some small buildings. Send me a message with your e-mail & I can send you the PDF file… just print & go

  • SuBN01z3RaT:

@gaza2421 thanks ill have to try to make a building like that dont have much in the way of tools or anything for this kind of stuff most any spare money ive had has gone into automotive tools and the move to where im at cost me a decent amount of money setting me back but if i can do a decent job making my own buildings and stuff that should help me get by while i figure out what to do for laying out and inbetween money for purchasing tracks and cars

  • gaza2421:

    @SuBN01z3RaT Greetings from Winnipeg, Canada.
I am in a similar position- I’m slowly renovating my basement and can’t start my layout for at least several months. I’ve been spending the past year building structures. Like you I’m on a tight budget. Most of my buildings are scratch-built from either sheet plastic or Mattboard (much better than cardstock).
ps- I’ve been very happy ordering from Hobbylinc -they’re one of the cheapest I’ve found

  • Hetierd:

I think someone should make a futuristic model railroad

  • Legomanfan66:

thumbs up if u live in arizona

  • rahaworth1:

@0nxgold Hello, Are you asking about the video itself or the train layout?

  • rahaworth1:

@SuBN01z3RaT Understood on your location. All I can tell you is these guys are more than williing to share their expertise. So if you can get to a model railroad club you can probably find tons of good advise there.

  • SuBN01z3RaT:

  • SuBN01z3RaT:
