HOBBY SHOP TRIP. Stuff I got for my Layout, Mostly Woodland Scenics

The hobby shop in my town is going out of business. Most things were 60% off. So I bought some stuff I needed. Mainly scenery stuff from Woodland Scenics. I’ll probably go back in a day or so and do the same thing over.

@atsfupsp09 Cool. Does it work pretty good? I havent tried it yet.

  • MrSaturdayNight7:

@spsf1000 lol Yeah I know. I’m thinking I should go back today and get some more stuff before someone else gets it. He has just a couple more things I want like foilage and maybe a little more flex track. A damn dealer came in and bought all the trains. I was pissed at first. haha. The sicko didnt even leave me a Model Power engine :^) lol.

yo for the rock molds if you dont want to use the woodland scenics hydrocal can you use a regular house filler or is it best to stick to plaster of paris? (to prevent any damage to the rubber in the molds?)

  • MrSaturdayNight7:

I always use the Woodland Scenics Lightweight Hydrocal or buy the 25 pound bag of Plaster of Paris at Home Depot, Lowes etc. I’ve tried others but the detail dosent show up as good and I get a lot of cracks. I mean it will work, but you just have to touch it up a few times, like Drywall mud. They havent damaged my molds yet either.
